Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Studio Didili collects through zoididili.com and through our work together, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible for your data

Studio Didili, run by Zoi Didili
VAT BE 1012392562
Antwerp, Belgium
Email: zoididili.media@gmail.com

What we collect and why

  • Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the type of occasion, its date and location, and anything you write in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Clients. If you book us, we keep the details needed to deliver the work and invoice you: contact details, the agreement, invoices and payment records. Legal basis: performance of our contract and our legal (accounting) obligations.
  • Photographs. The photos we take of you and your guests are delivered to you through a private online gallery. We may also share a selection of them on our website and our social media accounts (such as Instagram) to show our work. By booking, you agree to this, unless you tell us otherwise. You can ask us at any time, before or after your event, not to publish your photos or to remove ones already published, and we will do so.
  • Website visits. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working, and may collect anonymous visitor statistics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Who else sees your data

We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers who help us run the business, under their own data protection terms:

  • WordPress.com (Automattic), which hosts this website and processes contact form messages, including spam filtering by Akismet;
  • Google (Gmail), where we receive and answer email;
  • Pic-Time, which hosts your private photo galleries;
  • Instagram (Meta), for photos we share there;
  • our accountant, for invoicing and tax purposes.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking: up to 12 months after our last contact.
  • Client records and invoices: as long as Belgian accounting law requires.
  • Online galleries on Pic-Time: 5 years after delivery. Please download your photos within that period.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your personal data, to limit how we use it, to object to its use (including the publication of your photos), or to receive a copy in a common format. Just email zoididili.media@gmail.com; we’ll reply within one month.

If you think we have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
